Call to action; Purchase NE to keep heat on * |
|
No need to repost the entire article but this headline is enough of a reason to rush out and purchase this issue of the NE:
BUSH'S BOOZE CRISIS
By purchasing this issue it will send a strong message to both the NE and the MSM to continue running negative * articles.
We have a golden opportunity right in our laps and we must not let it pass. I personally do not hold the NE in high regard but have made an exception for this issue. In fact, my wife and I have bought ten copies.
If you want to send a strong message to the MSM, here is your chance. Please, do not let this opportunity slip away!

1. I've never purchased it before, but I'll do it for the cause. |
|
In fact, when my brother opened a professional office I thought I'd buy him a bunch of those newspapers for his waiting room as a joke gift. As I approached the checkout counter, I just couldn't do it. I guess it was something about Bat Boy.

Batboy not withstanding, it's very important IMO to let the NE know that if they print it (anti-* articles), we will come.

10. batboy has never appeared in the National Enquirer; |
|
you are thinking of Weekly World News, which is an obvious satirical hoax newspaper (comparable to MAD magazine being thought of as "news").
National Enquirer is no worse than infotainment like Entertainment Tonight. It is a "tabloid," nothing more, nothing less. I actually like reading it from time to time because, unlike ET and the other "star" shows and papers, it actually features ordinary people and different problems/challenges they have overcome or feats they have accomplished, stuff like that.
Because of heavy lawsuits over the years, NE has had to maintain strong integrity in what it reports.

9. "He takes every soldier's life personally." |
|
That's really the only part of the article I find unbelievable.
Unless, of course, what they REALLY mean by "takes" is that he is personally responsible for the death of each soldier, in which case I agree.
