1. I doubt that Edwards would have made Kerry's list.
It would have been experienced Judges. Probably a minority or a woman.

3. I think he would CERTAINLY be more than qualified.I believe he
could handle a confirmation just as well as Robert's did.Only, he would not try to hide everything, because he has NOTHING to be ashamed of.

4. What's the point?
It's all history. It's gone by.

People love to hypothesize, to ask, "what if?" I understand that. But, it accomplishes nothing. Looking backwards, thinking hypothetically about things which cannot be is a kind of mental masturbation.

*sigh*

6. It was something that crossed my mind when I was
reading John's wikipeida bio.

Mainly because I didn't know who we had in line.

I'm just hoping to focus the uninitiated, based on many decades of dealing with this sort of thing. What are you trying to do. :P

5. I only know of Edwards' experience in civil cases
I don't know how far his experience goes in constitutional law, someone could fill me in if I'm wrong.

I'm sure Kerry would have picked an experienced federal judge, probably a woman or minority.

14. Let me run something else by you
Meaningful thread titles attract people you want who are interested in the topic, and keep out idle curious riff-raff like me.

and he still wouldn't have won . . . the election was stolen . . .
