Santorum on Imus: "i'm behind by 10 or 15 points" |
|
Imus said Santorum deserves to be re-elected although he knew nothing about who Santorum's opponent might be ...

19. I was not aiming that remark at welshTerrior2 at all...... |
|
my remark was against Imus. My remark was strictly regarding Imus. I am sure welshTerrior2 is a very thoughtful and reasonable person. My apologies for any misunderstanding.

20. Misunderstanding was mine |
|
Appologies.
However, I disagree with your comment that voting rights should be restricted based on radio listening habits.
If anything, we should be educating and enrolling more voters.

5. He's an idiot first,who knows second.... |
|
He grudgingly voted for Kerry, and bitched all the way to the polls about it. Imus thought Kerry was a loser also but not as bad as Bush. The fuck doesn't even check facts or where someone stands,he just looks at his arbitron ratings for the month.

7. He is no idiot, he did not support Kerry - that was all a set up |
|
He pretended to support Kerry but was actually more critical of Kerry than those around him. He never defended Kerry.

13. Actually, He respects Kerry and did support him. |
|
Kerry has even recently been out to visit Imus on his ranch and Kerry has appeared on his show earlier this year. Imus was very friendly to him during this phone appearance.

16. But then, each time after Kerry was off the phone, ended |
|
up agreeing with the right wing slime on his show. He just seemed somewhat intellectually challanged. He did let Kerry get his message out without cutting him off after 15 sec like some cable people did to all Democrats. - So over all you would have 10 - 15 minutes of earnest, intelligent Kerry, followed by Imus and company pretending to be butthead and Beavis.
As some people put it on for amusement driving to work, this could have been a net plus. (the stupid train story - endlessly repeated probably hurt - but was likely just Imus's ego.)

21. It was so obvious that it was all a set up. I only tune in once in |
|
a blue moon. I caught the end of a McCain interview where Imus said something about needing McCain to be Pres. He then snickered and laughed when McCain was off the air. I think he's being used to play McCain.

Imus and Santorum are both pretty scummy.

9. Closer to 15 than 10 according to a REPUBLICAN poll.....here |
|
http://www.thehill.com/thehill/export/TheHill/News/Campaign/091505.html14 points down as of Sept 15. That was almost 2 weeks ago. It could be 20 points by now. Ricky is more or less in free fall. His best hope now is to hit bottom and get a dead cat bounce just in time for election day.
