What are the official and unoffical GOP arguments RE: independent com?
Edited on Wed Sep-28-05 09:59 AM by expatriot
I am watching the house floor speeches on CSPAN1 and all the Dems are insisting on independent commission while Republicans aren't even mentioning it. Pretending the demand for an independent commission and the poll numbers that say 70-80% of Americans are in favor of an independent commission doesn't exist can not be their only defense.

1. It really doesn't matter though does it
They are in control. They make all the rules and the people be damned. The votes are fixed and they are in charge. Helpless feeling isn't it?
