This is as big as a Presidential impeachment. |
|
Just to keep it in perspective.
Remember '98? How elated the Reeps were that they were going to take down Clinton? Of course it wasn't at all popular, and it was seen as being extra-legal and purely political, and of course a Dem was merely going to step in to assume the office if they'd managed to convict in the Senate.
But in '98, they were partyin' like it was 1999.
We should be partying today. We should hoot 'n hollar and enjoy. The leader of a house of Congress was indicted, and had to step aside from his post.
The work begins tomorrow, but tonight, enjoy.

1. Congressman Tom Delay. Ooh, man that feels good! |
|
Let me say it again - Congressman Tom Delay. Congressman Tom Delay. Congressman Tom Delay. Congressman Tom Delay.
He's no longer the senate majority leader! :woohoo: :woohoo:

The damage done is so enormous, it will be our lifetimes, and the lifetimes of our children to undo.

4. I won't party until Delay, Frist, Santorum, Bush, Cheney, |
|
Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, and Rice are bitches for some overly tattooed lifers in prison.
I keep thinking about why the Democrats in Congress are so inert. Fear of being Wellstoned? Anthraxed? Such threats can extend beyond Congress to judges.
Don't tell me I'm being crazy. Think of what this administration has done to its citizens so far.
But, I must admit, the indictment did make me smile.

This is, as William Shatner might've hawked, big. Really big.
It'll refocus attention on the horrendous redistricting in Texas and why these rats felt they needed to do that. It'll remind everyone in America just how dirty these guys are.
Yeah, it's just a step, but tonight, if you're inclined to indulge in recreational intoxication and/or gratuitous sex I say go for it!

10. if fear of being wellstoned is their excuse |
|
then i hope they're all shot when law'n'order's restored, clinton included! i know it's easy for a nobody in cyberland to advise courage, but one would think, if the country's in danger, it would be a given...the denouncers of bush and his criminality would be lined up to do so, even if bush had them all killed! therefore, cowardice can't be it. it's the same thing that hamstrung bill clinton during his presidency (where it was clear our guys were ALWAYS pulling their punches!)...that is: bush and the gopigs are blackmailing the ruling class of usa (beside terrorising anyone who sticks out too much, notice for example, mike moore has gone 'undercover') the blackmail is economic, to wit: if bushinc is brought down, information will be released that will cause collapse of economy and street violence/bloodshed(?)

15. But if the Dems take power |
|
Won't they then have the power to suppress information from being released that would collapse the economy?
The media are whores for the power brokers.

20. the point is that the economy can't collapse |
|
if it does, the resulting horror would astonish even sci fi types.....civilization is a hard won state of affairs (notice how many monsters are around even when things are not too bad!)....once legality is ignored (witness bosnia herzogovina -mass murder of multi generational neighbors by their neighbors very quickly became routine!) then chaos must result, and if the vast majority of people are scared now, enough to vote for a reagan or bush, much less when gangs of suburban cannibals are buying homeless kids for food in the middle of town etc!!....the average citizen in a modern society is only days away from dying of thirst, weeks from hunger (supplying water and food to a population requires civilization, once it breaks down ...(?)) therefore, the gopigs can use this apocalyptic threat to prevent the dems from trying to punish them (which explains why the dems remain so quiet when the gopigs literally deliver themselves up on a platter...)

16. I want the Rove Indictment |
|
This was a drop in the bucket to me. Nothing. Repubs will find a way to turn this around, or Dems will screw it up.
But the indictment I'm gonna dance for if it happens, is Karl Rove.
The man responsible for destroying this country as we know it.
I REALLY want to see him indicted so badly. But with this indictment, Bush may just take Fitzgerald out of his job now, no matter how scared or partisan it makes him look to shut the whole thing down, to protect Rove.
But, if by some miracle, that doesn't happen and that grand jury comes back with an indictment, I am going to get rip roaring drunk...ah I mean, tipsy. :) Des

The quality of mercy is not strain'd; It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven Upon the place beneath. It is twice blest: It blesseth him that gives and him that takes. 'Tis mightiest in the mightiest; it becomes The throned monarch better than his crown;
I'd settle for merciful Justice.

Well, and good. But Shakespeare's MOV carries it's own important caveat: "The devil can cite scripture for his own purpose." That happens to be a theme in Luke, too. But, the words you quote are words to live by. Thanks ML.
