Can Delay blackmail Bu$h for a pardon?

I think that Rove uses quasi-blackmail all the time. It is the only way to explain the lack significant leaks. Delay must have some shit on Bu$h and Rove. Will he play his hand? Will it work? I think Bu$h would pardon him in a heartbeat if it meant keeping certain information from the Houston area squashed. Also, Bu$h has very little to lose politically from a pardon. His numbers are already in the toilet. If Delay has info on a 70s cocaine arrest, AWOL, or other Bu$h peccadilloes, he has himself a pardon (or a Baxterizing).

On the other hand, I'm sure Rove has a dossier on Delay. Vice-versa, too, probably. Yummy. Popcorn with your Schadenfreude?

So long as he remains loyal to the Bush cartel, he can expect a pardon. Absolute loyalty to insiders is the name of the game for these people. That's why they're so hard to bring down.
