Who is Roy Blunt (the guy now in Delay's seat)? He was handpicked by The Hammer AND he's connected to Abramoff too.

What a disgusting bunch of criminals the Republicans keep electing!

Here's a link to learn more about Blunt: http://www.beyonddelay.org/beyond_delay/rep_roy_blunt_r_mo

1. Absolutely Heartless
During the height of Katrina coverage this guy was focused on the need to get rid of the estate tax. Guess he stays on message, no matter what is going on around him.

2. Well, it's not like there are a lot of Republicans who aren't

for them to choose from.

3. Wasn't he on the list of 13 corrupt leaders in Washington - posted
Tuesday?

The right wing doesn't care one bit - they are blatant and are laughing about our lack of protest and our placid acceptance of their crimes.

4. Makes him perfectly suitable to lead the Republican Congress,
right? I'm happy they deep sixed Drier. Sure, he might be in the closet, but he seems like he's competent and reasonable ethical. How could you trust him to keep all the dirty little secrets in a buried in a lock box?

5. Ethical? Is it ethical to gay bash from a position of power
while one lives as a gay man in secret? That's pretty damned UNethical in my book.

6. Hey, we're talking Republicans here.
Relatively speaking, Blount is far more representitive of Republican ethics/values than Drier. Yes, Drier might be self-hating and have some kind of problems to support a Party that hates him, the point is he'd be a better spokesperson than Blount. Personal opinion, though. YMMV.

7. Point well take. In the context of modern republicanism, Drier is less
offensive than some other Rs. I just hate a blatant, smirking fraud.
