worst softball interview of all time - Delay on Harball |
|
In all my years of following politics and watching "news shows" I don't think I have ever witnessed such a pathetic, non-journalistic interivew , ever.
What Chriss Matthews did was a disgrace to journalism.

3. It was unbelievable ... |
|
Mathews didn't even give the puke time to lay his BS on the table, Mathews knew what he was going to say and said it even before Delay did ... Just pathetic ...
Ann Coulter was half mental on Larry King, as well as some repugnant R senator, but the woman from the New Republic was just AWESOME, and the D senator was very solid ...
Delay, and I mean this from years of working with them, has the same deluded mentality as a child molestor ... TOTAL disconnect from reality and a total the world is against me complex, with no awareness of the fact that he is a totally disgusting human being ...
I hate to say ... I saw the Hannity interview, and he actually looked torn ... On one hand, he was half laying out Delays BS defense for him, but on the other, he actually was looking at him like he really thought he was full of it, too ...

2. I think it had to be a very close second to the lap job performed |

by dog-faced Brit Hume. Brit all but chimed in and aided in the trashing and slashing of Ronnie Earle. To hear Delay refer to someone is a hack (among other bits of character assasination)was truly a surreal experience.

4. The funny thing is ... |

with Mathews, you could tell he didn't even do his homework ... All this talk about Earle being partisan, but in the second half when the put the screen shot up of politicians he had prosecuteed, most of them were democrates ... As it turns out, of the 18 or so he he has prosecuted, like 13 of them have been democrates ... When this was pointed out to Delay at some point, he started up about liberal vs conservative democrates ... This guy is just OUT there ...

5. I think that's Matthew's problem. He always comes out of the gate |
|
armed with the RNC talking points. He seems to be too lazy to research himself. I watched the interview....he seemed to almost put words in DeLay's mouth. Now, that could be to get DeLay clearly on the record or it could be to help establish his talking points. I am not really sure. Matthews seems to have a real strange worldview on his politics....and he seems bi-polar, to boot.

I saw Olberman after that and he was very good. One of his best shows I think. Very concise, did 3 follow up stories then kicked those with the Katrina mess and no stupid pet tricks. I think that the more the pukes scream, the worse we know it is for bugman.
