Ok...this really shames me...well, let's just say I didn't have the nicest of words to describe Tillman in the past. Now it turns out the guy was the opposite of what I thought he was.

Karma coming back to me. I accept it. I threw bad karma on Tillman, and I got it back.

ANyone, I'm real shocked about this.

11. That's kind of sad actually.
When people just don't accept reality, it's a sad thing.

2. This was known before ...
... but it wasn't well-publicized. By "not well publicized", I mean that even I only saw mention of it once or twice.

The Military intended to use Tillman as their poster boy to sell the war. It's getting more play now because the illusion is gone, and Tillman's family and friends are finally getting more attention.

So don't feel too bad. We've all been bamboozled by the media. Tillman probably was aware of that as anyone, if he was a Chomsky reader. The irony and the karma can be reversed by helping to spread the truth.

And that's all Tillman would want us to do, anyway.

5. i think I'll do that
though I wrote some pretty scathing words about him. It was not a pleasant experience for me. I got a lot of hate mail about it.

Well, I guess continuing the fight for what's right will help me reverse the karma.

8. We're MORE patriotic!
Progressives should shout it from the rooftops and everywhere else. It's the neocon agenda that's hurting our country-not progressives!

9. Whoa, that's pretty cool
a white pro athlete on our side. No wonder he signed up for duty - he was a REAL patriot, not an armchair warrior like the Bears' Hunter Hillenmeyer. I wonder if his best pal Plummer is one of us too.
