Anyone see Russert on Today? Media has been given its playbook
Edited on Thu Sep-29-05 08:50 AM by underpants
Video link just below pic of Delay
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/

So Russert was on repeating the RW talking points (it is about the person who sent this before the grand jury not the person who is corrupt as hell) but did correct Delay from the Hardball last night.

Delay was admonished for the first two ethics charges-Delay claimed all charges were dropped over the years. Okay I don't even have to look-let me guess Delay beat the other charges because the Repub majority and committee chairs covered for him (I can SMELL that that is the case).

Then we got to where this is really going. Despite Delay being under indictment (but not yet convicted mind you), Frist being investigated, The Plame leak case, and Abramoff.....................................................................wait for it......................................................................President Bush and the Republicans will unveil the next pick for the Supreme Court tomorrow and turn the political discussion back to their strong suits........................................wait for it...........................................................................................................values and morality.

Got it?

2. Here is a good link on Delay's list of admonishments. Many others
stink to high heaven. Russert is ruining his credibility further by trying to salvage such a piece of garbage as Delay. The Republicans should be thanking this guy for indicting him. There are probably just as many on their side that can't stand him. He is the Congressional mafia, and he has been for many years. This is long overdue. It is time for the government to be by the people for the people again. http://www.commoncause.org/site/pp.asp?c=dkLNK1MQIwG&b=476747

3. Like I said -I could smell it
I knew about the Ethics committee purge and the rule change. I now remember the CFC and the convention party deal.

Scum....bag clear and simple.
