Will the Washington Pre$$titute Corps Confront Bush on His Latest Lie?
http://www.presstitutes.com/presstitutes/2005/09/how_many_2_al_q.html

How Many #2 Al Qaeda 'Masterminds' Are There?

Scott Shields at MyDD informs us that some Pre$$titutes may actually have done what they should have been doing the past four years: question Bush's "terror" triumphalism. From MyDD: "The media has seemed completely incapable of recognizing that maybe not every al Qaeda figure we eliminate is as important as the administration claims he is.... In an online-only piece for Newsweek, Michael Isikoff and Mark Hosenball delve into the claim that Abu Azzam, a terrorist recently killed in Iraq, was Zarqawi's number two man. Speaking in the Rose Garden this morning, Bush made just such a claim. Isikoff and Hosenball ran down the information and found that's not really the case."

What a rarity, reporters actually digging for information rather than regurgitating Bush spin. Imagine how much better off America would be if this was a regular occurrence...

And here's a question for the Washington Pre$$titute Corps: do you intend to hold Bush and his team accountable for lying about Abu Azzam's importance?

3. Unfortunately, probably not. After a brief awakeing during the first week
or two after Katrina, they seem to be slowly resuming their complacent slumber.

4. At least al Qaeda seems to know who they are talking to:
"We tell these midgets: stop saying that because it will not do any good." Man, and Kim Il George is really sensitive about his hight (or lack there of)...

Welcome to DU, Presstitutes! :hi:

5. Maybe they should just ask the "Lump in the Bed" if it is true
After all we know "Lump in the Bed" would never ever put out false information for PR points....:+

6. I disagree with the use of terms like "presstitute" and "media whore" in
describing the failures of the media to DO THEIR GODDAMN JOB. "Temporary sexual companions" are honest about what they are doing. Sure, there may be some delusion on the part of the customer, thinking that they are something special. But the worker is honest in their self-identity.

Contrast that with the actions of the media, where deception and delusion are at the core of what they do. We are insulting the world's oldest professionals when we compare the media to them.

7. Point taken
The craven behavior or our media puts them on the lowest rungs of our social ladder.
