DeLay said the charge couldn't hold up to even a glancing scrutiny

I don't think it's possible for a scrutiny to be glancing. the two are incompatible.

could Tommy be rattled?

2. Yup, he's rattled...he wasn't supposed to be indicted...
Edited on Thu Sep-29-05 11:36 AM by truebrit71
...and Lt AWOL's spin-monkey was busy yesterday putting as much distance between them and Roach-man as humanly possible without leaving skidmarks in their wake....

Delay is going down...and like the true, rat-fuck son-of-a-bitch that he is, when he gets dropped like a smelly turd by his gop 'friends' he will squeal like a pig on the whole lot of them...

Good times, good times!

6. Yeah, you'd think there'd be one or two guilty guys in all those prisons
DeLay will fit right in.

9. Sadly, if I understood the lawyer's post on the DU home page
Delay can't receive prison time for this.

5. It's tough to glance with bars in front of your face, let alone scrutinize
Get used to it, Tommy Boy.

7. What about the other forty some indictments issued in this case?
Those indictments charged over 100 crimes by DeLay's people, organizations, and contributors. And there already have been several guilty pleas entered.

8. And the guilty pleas are the key.
Those people are probably turning state's evidence for reduced sentences - little bugs giving up the big cockroach.

12. It depends on how the jury's stacked
I wouldn't put it past Bugboy's sleazy lawyer to stack the jury to favor him. I heard Kay Bailey Hutchison did the same thing: stack the jury with consymps (conservative sympathizers).

13. I think we will let the judge and jury be the judge of that Tommy. No
offense, but we dont exactly trust your judgement of what is or is not felonius behavior on your part.

16. He's going down.He knows it.That is why he is "bluffing" so hard
and putting on this fake cocky grin like everything is under control.Look at his behavior. If he was not worried,he would not be so "overly" about it"Oh, the republicans are united" " this is a political attack" " this wont hold up" I don't know, but from a behavioristic view, he's scared out of his mind right now because someone seriously betrayed him and he is BUSTED.
