Ben Ginsberg sat grinning throughout much of this evening's "Hardball."

Apparently, the John Roberts vote indicates that Bush has lost NO power. NONE.

Also, Rove and Libby didn't do it.

DeLay? Didn't do it.

The thing that REALLY tipped me off as to how BOUGHT AND SOLD this little worm is was the "Republicans are the party of solutions, ideas, while the Democrats offer nothing" bullshit...yeah, the same stuff Scott McClellan was spewing two days ago.

Color me disgusted.

I think. I don't have the file now but I think it was anb FCC document found in a search on Fl. R Feeney. Had to do with Clint curtis and a software program to rig E voting machines.

I think this is right, I always wondered how a lawyer like Ginsberg associated with the President would be defending a Rep from Florida.

I considered being apologetic out of respect to that person and thought "You know what? Why don't we let Ginsberg's record stand on its own?"

Tweety really was in attack mode. There really was no point in having Ginsberg on. Tweety filled his shoes admirably.

Monica Crowley made a comment on "Imus In The Morning" a week ago. It was a definite "sour grapes" moment, but Imus was asking her why her show with Ron Jr. got moved out of prime time and into a 12 noon slot. She claimed she liked the new slot better, Imus laughed out loud and told her "No one's watching you at 12 noon." Anyway...she said that she got moved because of Tweety and a focused, deliberate attempt by the show to raise its viewership among "the red states."

Lately "Hardball" has been just that. The minute Hurricane Rita hit, the only question Matthews seemed to ask was "has this erased the negative image of Bush during Katrina? Has he turned it around?"
