Ben Ginsberg faithfully recites Rove talking points on "Hardball"
Edited on Fri Sep-30-05 07:39 PM by Bush_Eats_Beef
Ben Ginsberg sat grinning throughout much of this evening's "Hardball."

Apparently, the John Roberts vote indicates that Bush has lost NO power. NONE.

Also, Rove and Libby didn't do it.

Frist? Didn't do it.

DeLay? Didn't do it.

The thing that REALLY tipped me off as to how BOUGHT AND SOLD this little worm is was the "Republicans are the party of solutions, ideas, while the Democrats offer nothing" bullshit...yeah, the same stuff Scott McClellan was spewing two days ago.

Color me disgusted.

ON EDIT: Ginsberg's photo, for those who don't immediately recognize the name:

1. Is MSNBC still paying Ginsberg to read the GOP faxes?
They hired him when Tweety was blacklisted by Rove to be the resident spewer.

Since Tweety is back in Rove's good graces, is MSNBC still paying him to be a "MSNBC Consultant?"

4. He sat grinning like a jackal through his entire appearance.
Like Cheech Marin in "From Dusk Till Dawn," right before George Clooney blew him away.

5. What do you expect
from the creep who gave legal advice to the Scumboat crowd? He is a loyal partisan hack of the worst kind. He shill constantly for the Impeachemnt of Clinton 24/7. There is no one lower than this slimeball in the realm of partisan hackery.

That giant sucking sound you hear is Ben Ginsberg hoping George will notice him and give him some.

6. Don't forget his shrill jackal cries during the Florida 2000 recount
in his capacity as Bush Campaign lawyer.

8. Anyone recall the Feeney court doc, Ginsberg was one of his lawyers
I think. I don't have the file now but I think it was anb FCC document found in a search on Fl. R Feeney. Had to do with Clint curtis and a software program to rig E voting machines.

I think this is right, I always wondered how a lawyer like Ginsberg associated with the President would be defending a Rep from Florida.

9. he makes little children cry
Seriously.

A little girl I know would start crying every time Ginsberg came on the telly during the Clinton impeachment.

He drools and glowers. Nasty man. (And yes, I remember that someone on DU works in the same office with Ginsberg and says he's really QUITE a nice man. Har.)

12. I remember that DU post also, and almost referenced it when I posted this
I considered being apologetic out of respect to that person and thought "You know what? Why don't we let Ginsberg's record stand on its own?"

It's not a post about the person who work(ed) with Ginsberg, it's about Ginsberg, so that's that.

I have a friend who's got a standard response for apologists: "Hitler loved his dogs."

He did. When it came to taking care of his dogs, Hitler was a nice man. Ginsberg might like dogs too, but I could give a rat's ass.

10. Tweety was doing such a good job carrying water for the
Bush Gang, Ben hardly had to interject his own reading from the script. I thought Mark Green held up pretty well.

13. Yes, that's why I made the comment...
..."Ben Ginsberg sat grinning throughout much of this evening's "Hardball."

Tweety really was in attack mode. There really was no point in having Ginsberg on. Tweety filled his shoes admirably.

Monica Crowley made a comment on "Imus In The Morning" a week ago. It was a definite "sour grapes" moment, but Imus was asking her why her show with Ron Jr. got moved out of prime time and into a 12 noon slot. She claimed she liked the new slot better, Imus laughed out loud and told her "No one's watching you at 12 noon." Anyway...she said that she got moved because of Tweety and a focused, deliberate attempt by the show to raise its viewership among "the red states."

Lately "Hardball" has been just that. The minute Hurricane Rita hit, the only question Matthews seemed to ask was "has this erased the negative image of Bush during Katrina? Has he turned it around?"

11. Saw it. He also thanked Chris for making some of those points for him.
The closest I've been to smashing my TV have been watching Tweety. Many times.
