Will Diebold still be in place for the midterm elections ?

We all have our opinions on who will win what races. We all know it doesn't mean shit if Diebold is left in place again. Will Diebold still be in place ?

1. I honestly think the only option we have is to midify the DB machines.

We have to think a little logically here. Every state has invested a lot of $$ in these electronic voting machines. We're never going to convince them to toss them! The only option we have is to midify them to produce a verifiable paper trail. Even that is going to be very expensive, and it's going to be a though battle, but I think it can happen, mainly because the Pubs don't trust these machines either! We can't agree on anything else, but if this is the one thing we agree on, we all need to push for it to happen...EVERYWHERE!

2. I never thought it would happen here

but they have already started putting Diebold in every county. A stupid little hick town where half these hicks won't know a damn thing about "touch screens" and how to use them.It's been punch cards here forever,but Diebold had to invade here too.God,I know we are SCREWED. :grr:
