girls basketball coach. That's it. That's as far as she should have gotten.

And she would have been good at it too. I can see her winning a state championship, possibly carrying on a clandestine affair with the school superintendent, field-marshalling bake sales, terrorizing a congregation of earnest Baptists from a small-town position of some power.

But she's not. She is representing the United States of America in the Middle East and holding forth on the Constitution like some demented crazy person on Jaywalking.
