Could Rove end up an un-indicted co-conspirator? |
|
I've been hearing people say that Fitzgerald might charge someone as a co-conspirator. Likewise, if the Rovian arguement on his actions (I didn't know what I was doing was wrong) seem true in Fitzgerald's eyes, then he might go after Rove not through actual indictment, but as an unindicted co-conspirator. This would still hurt Bush politically, but not as much as it would if Rove were indicted. If Rove gets this status, maybe Libby or someone else in the WH will be indicted.

The only reason Nixon was an unindicted co-conspirator was because he was a sitting President protected by the constitution.

5. Rove has no such protection. But Bush or Cheney may no longer have it now. |
|
And they can thank the GOP for opening that door on Clinton with Monica. That set a precedent that can very well come back to bite them hard in the ass.

4. I think Fitzgerald will nail Bush with a double-whammy: Rove and Cheney |
|
Don't ask me why, but they're both extremely vulnerable. Losing either one is akin to Bush having a political leg "broken" so maybe we are figuratively about to watch the chimp be brought down to his knees?
My fingers are crossed.

6. A great mental picture |

is imagining the fate of soft, pudgy, pillsbury doughboy lookin asswipes like Rove, Limbaugh, Bennett, that Goldberg punk, and Ken Starr once they get locked up. Cracks me up every time I think about it.

8. What point would there be in |
|
leaving either Ch*ney or R*ve as unindicted co-conspirators? If you have the goods on them, go for them. Otherwise, your GJ process looks pretty tainted, and I do not think Fitzgerald would ever put the process into the sewer like that.
