Maine Religious Righter: "The Devil Is Campaigning Hard Here"

This fall the religious right in Maine is trying to scare people into repealing our new law which adds sexual orientation to the protected classes under our civil rights laws.
A NO vote on Nov. 8th means NO to repealing the law and NO to discrimination.

Hearing the religious righters, you'd think the Devil himself was campaigning for our side. i.e. " 'Buying in to the major premise of the gay rights movement may look like a good and wise thing to do, but it is rooted in the lies and deceptions of the Evil One. Many otherwise thoughtful people, even pastors who should know better and be able not only to reason but to spot the clever deceptions that unthinking people fall for, are falling for the lies. I’ll vote YES on Question One, and I’ll stay on the alert for the one who “prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8 NIV).
