refered to in the Rush Limbaugh site re hurricane coverage. I also had my Republican bro-in-law dumping on me in a 'discussion' of singlepayer healthcare saying that I was 'all doom and gloom' over not having health insurance. I guess they just can't handle criticism of any kind. Yet the media continue to blow sunshine up our arses and we're supposed to believe all is well ?

Is this part of the Freeper/RNC's talking points or something ? DUers out there please advise.

Any time you have to spin a story, you've already proven you lost. Sooner or later you will be scooped.

Doom and Gloom - how clever, that spin even sorta rhymes, in a gradeschool sorta way.

Not one thing on his nazi agenda benefits the average American.So,when we bring it to their attention they get pissed. They are like alcoholics.Drunk on power but deny everything.

All our Doom and Gloom is RIGHT! It's warning against the predictable consequences of stupid Pollyana Fantasyland Republicans' plans.

I think I'll write a 2-line play on the subject. Here:
Dem: "Watch out! That pan is hot. You might want a potholder."
Repug: "You're such a pessimist! Liberal Obstructionist! Watch... OUCH!"

That captures it, except that the OUCH is felt by hundreds of millions of people in America and around the world, including future generations.
