2. Oh my God, who said this?
How can he be tired after having a month's vacation just a few weeks ago? Jesus, the man has never had to work at anything his entire life!

7. DEPRESSED? - DID YOU NOTICE HIS ANSWER TO THE FED RESERVE CHAIR QUESTION
Edited on Tue Oct-04-05 11:52 AM by powergirl
He can't play "popular" "War President" anymore. He's probably hitting the sauce too. It's no fun being the prez anymore. Did anyone notice that he was completely stumped about answering the question about the Fed Reserve Chairman. I was almost afraid he was going to keel over!:hide:

8. Tired of having to make excuses and wiggling his way out of troubles
Tired of looking like a FOOL but perplexed as what to do about it.

Tired of listening to the CREW and finding out...they don't know shit either...

Tired of scolding from MOM

Tired of his friends getting into troubles....and now, they want help?

Tired of being a JOKE here and around the WORLD/Galaxy/Universe

Tired of 62534 trips to La/Tx

I guess the man needs a rest by now...he had a month of being stupid 24/7

his admonishing the press this morning ("I'm not finished yet!") shows you can't keep a swagger and a smirk down.

18. Especially peevish when asked about the shortcomings of FEMA
He practically snapped out that he took full responsibility for any federal government failures after Katrina. The look on his pissypants little mug reminded me of nothing so much as a spoiled teenager whining "I SAID I was saw-ree!" without any recognition of what he was sorry about, any pain or damage he'd caused, and no indication that anything was going to change in the future. Except maybe being a little more careful about not getting caught.

11. Why is he tired ?
Not once during the Clinton administration did anyone in the press ever comment that he looked tired, or stressed or express anything even remotely close to sympathy/empathy for Clinton. He was a big boy with a big boy's job to do so buck up.

Because the press has known from day one that junior is completely over his head they feel sorry for him while not realizing they are the idiot morons that gave him the football.

Last night I met a couple of undergrads from Duke - one from Jordan and the other from Ukraine. I asked them what they thought of Bush. Instead of answering the question they both talked at length about Clinton and his importance to the world in terms of democracy. It was obvious that they are used to speaking with Americans who have no concept of the our relationship and importance of leadership to the rest of the world so they were trying to convince me - I finally told them I got it and they could quit selling me the world view but I understood why they might be continually frustrated by American ignorance around international issues.

12. Tony Harris at CNN :o)
Tony Harris filled in for Daryn "I did Limpballs" Kagen this morning.

ManNNnnn, how refreshing he is compared to her! They REALLY should consider replacing Daryn with Tony full time! He kept commenting on how Bush did a crappy job at the start of that rose garden spiel this morning..

Candy Crowley did her best to try to defend Bush; saying how he has every right to be drained right now.. :eyes: But I thought Tony did a great job of pretty much ignoring her Bushie excuses.

Tony also did a great job of reporting on the Big Dawg's visit to Louisiana :)

Daryn should head over to Faux (where I think she belongs) and give that slot to Tony Harris!! :headbang:

13. Daryn Kagen said yesterday. "George Bush just nominated
his own lawyer to the Supreme Court!" I had to do a double take because it sounded critical. Then Candy Crowley got on and blah blah blahed forEVER.

She is getting really huge, BTW.

21. I can't stand Tony Harris
Actually, there aren't too many I like at CNN.

I think harris comes across as lacking in intelligence. He seems to be a master of the obvious. He and the Oriental woman who does the evening slot on weekends have got to be the worst!

Just my opinion, of course. :)

14. this man is supposed to be fitter than 95% of Americans ...
If this is true, he shouldn't be this exhausted (especially after a month-long holiday).

I simply cannot muster the sympathy for someone who claimed he wanted the job and was up to it ... not just once, but TWICE! And then he and his cronies are always going around bragging about how much he works out -- given that they usually take a shot at Clinton or Gore for not being in the gym all the time, it sounds like they have been trying hard to equate this with discipline/virtue.

It's HARD WORK to throw away lives like that, while counting up the profits from the stolen oil.

We are new fields, baby.

17. NPR mentioned how tired W looked too.
What the fuck does this asshole have to be tired about. He didn't get to go on his bike ride today?

For a guy who is supposedly in such good shape, he sure looks like shit.

It was interesting without video. He was slurring something terrible. I was quite shocked! He sounded absolutely hammered. Even my husband commented on it.
