Dems between Rock and a very Hard Place: What to do? Miers or a Fundie?
On one hand, if the Dems allow Miers in, she is a friend/confidant/ and part of BushCo, the Court will be comped.

On the other hand, if rejected, sooner or later, a Fundie comes aboard, making it worse for the Nation.

Do we help the Nation and Bush with Miers? Or do we destroy a Nation with another Fundie?

All this is on the assumption Miers is a lessor threat than a Fundie. I understand she is a mild fundie herself...

I am confused? Are we in a quandry?

1. Miers is a fundy
She attends a fundie church in Dallas.

The Valley View Christian Church.

3. That's right!!!
She's a fundy, just like Roberts. Chimpy McJimBeam wouldn't nominate anybody but a fundy. Goodbye Roe v. Wade.

2. there is no question that she is unqualified for the supereme court.

its a no brainer. Nobody should vote for this woman, I think she will be another Thomas on the court, that almost never has an opinion and ussualy does what Scalia does.

5. That she seems unqualied is the main reason for rejection......
I am leaning that she should not be on the Court and risk big fight over the nx nom...

Bushie don't have the Power Punch as he once had....

7. I think it will be self evident that she does not belong on the court.

as the confirmation process starts, she will not be able to address complex issues on constitutional laws that are posed to her, with zero experience.

no mater that she is on not a fundie, of course she is, but lets at least get a competant one!
