1. And the other Senate Dems do nothing to stop him.
Unbelievable. I am disgusted.

8. I guess some here think the other Dems should drag Harry from the floor
and gag him.

10. Several ways...
1. speaking to him and suggesting that more has to be learned about this woman before praising her,

2. having a Senate Dem. caucus to agree on a strategy for dealing with this nomination before any Senate dem advances the nomination is any way.

I'm sure the Dem Senators have additional ideas.

Are you suggesting Reid should be allowed to say whatever he wants without being responsible to his Dem Senate colleagues?

She has no track record and she is devoted to the Coward. That's all I need to know to believe she must be opposed.

11. Since most of them will end up voting for Miers anyway
It would be a waste of time to chastise Harry.

13. Perhaps the Democratic caucus is not opposed to what he is saying
If they were, he would probably not be their leader for much longer.

2. Dancing around the truth is an effective way to make the truth disappear.
Poor Harry, what will you do when there's no truth left for you to dance around?

3. My ears must be acting up (been thinking about hearing aids)
But what I heard was not praise but a rather wry description of the "Brownie" and other curture of corruption picks as symbolic of the douche and his minions.

5. I didn't hear that, now he is laying out the things we "won't give up the
fight" on.

This sounds good.

7. Let's see, Harry stopped the nuclear option
By caving in, and approving (not filibustering)those reactionary judges. Now he's supporting a corrupt lawyer for SCOTUS.

Well, at least he's keeping our powder dry. Tell me again how lucky we are to have him.

15. And if he had led a fillibuster, every single one of those judges

would have been pushed through. How would that have been better?

enemies or something to that effect.

16. Three letters: I W R
Evidently the Senate Dems have grown no spine in the last three years.

12. He said the pres said she knows the kinda justice he's looking for,
but she must show the Senate she knows the kind of justice the people of the US are looking for.

14. Remember the recent news of Reid sympathizing with Frist on Blind Trusts?
Perhaps the GOP found something in Reid's moves to clean up his blind trust recently?
