Call your Senators & tell them to vote no on $50 billion for war tomorrow
If you live in CA, tell Feinstein that if she votes for this money for her husband's company, you'll fire her next year.

The American people are suffering from the U.S. Governments lack of domestic funding and yet they have more money for wars.

1. What happened to the anti-torture amendment that Shrub said he'd
veto over if it were left in the bill?

I'd love for him to veto it, no money to fight the "WOT" (world's official tyrant), we'd have to bring the troops home.

Since they still aren't getting the armor they need a year later, seems like they'd be safer without the money being approved.

2. You get tired of hearing them laugh at you in Texas.
But everybody else, call your senators.

3. Why? It NEVER matters
I just got finished reading the multiple page BS Patty Murray sent me on why she voted for Roberts. They simply do not care what we think.

4. I think you can fire Murray next year, too. Do you have a candidate?
We need some Democrats who will listen to us. When these people start losing their seats from within their own party, the rest will see the writing on the wall.

5. No, she just ran. It's Cantwell who's up for reelection
Unfortunately, all the Republicans in Washington State are so utterly creepy that there is really no choice but to vote for the Democrats. They (the Republicans) all seem to be Christian fundie whackos, or else they are tied in to the real estate lobby.

6. But don't you have any good Dems? There are primaries.

10. There are good Dems but they don't get the money
In particular, there is a real firebrand down in Tacoma named John Ladenberg, but he can't seem to break into statewide races. We used to have Mike Lowery, very liberal, but he got tarred and feathered a few years back. There is a good congressman up north, Jay Inslee, and it would be great if he would run - he might actually stand a chance, because I think the party bigwigs like him. Jim McDermott is my rep, but he would never win statewide either.
