Call PPA today and tell them no more donations
There is exactly one current Congressional race TODAY in California and the PPA chapter in that county sent out emails to everyone telling them to vote Republican. The pro-choice Democrat is planning to win today and he doesn't need PPA sabotaging his victory. If Steve loses, PPA will have cost the Democrats a pro-choice Democratic victory. The local paper was expecting a victory for Steve, but that was before PPA decided to play nicey nice with the neocons by backing a right-wing pro-choice Republican.

2. Isuguardia pointed out it was all true in the other thread
Don't know what you are trying to pull. I posted that one yesterday and someone brought it back into view after I posted this one. Both threads are good. Now anyone who believes we should fund Republicans is not a Democrat.

4. All the Democrats in this race are pro-choice. PPA is going anti-choice
Edited on Tue Oct-04-05 01:30 PM by genius
because once in Congress, Republicans are held in place and vote Bush anti-choice - regardless of their background.

5. That's your mistaken assumption....there are Republicans that..
are pro-choice. Not many, but some. Just like there are a few Democrats that aren't stellar on the choice issue. Dennis Kucinich, in fact. hmmmm...coincidence??

6. The Senate ones all voted anti-choice in last week.

Robert's wife is the VP for a group that advocates killing women's doctors. Actually, Dennis excellent on choice. Of all the Presidential candidates, he was the only one who would have used Roe as a litmus test.

7. PPA is making sure there will be TWO pro-choice candidates

Whether you are a registered Democrat, Republican, or Decline to State, you can vote for Marilyn Brewer in this open primary.

Their goal is not to insure that Democrats are elected, but that pro-life people are NOT elected here.

It will be interesting to see what happens in the GE.

10. This is the final election if someone gets a majority. Steve plans to win
The only thing that could screw up Steve's victory of today would be PPA. If Steve doesn't get a majority, the Democrats here will hold PPA responsible.

9. Call the Reg of Voters. This is only in the 48th Cong Dist in CA.
You can vote at the Registrar - or they will tell you your polling location. If Chris Cox used to be your representative, then you need to vote today. Steve's got a good chance of winning the seat today if we get enough Democrats out.
