I have been freaked out ever since I heard of the enormity of the Avian flu. After Katrina, we should be absolutely terrified. Bush's press conference today did NOT instill confidence in me. No flu serum, unlike European countries, no apparent plan (wha??), what the hell is going on?

Getting depressed. Going to bed to read and watch Commander in Chief, the only bright spot.

14. Does anyone remember when they talked about the bird flu being used

as a terrorist attack. This was a few months ago (or longer). I remember thinking WTH.
