Independent Counsel David M. Barrett Continues to Spend Millions Despite Court Order to Close Cisneros Investigation

Wednesday, October 05, 2005 -- Two years after the court ordered a halt to the decade-old investigation of former HUD Secretary Henry Cisneros, Independent Counsel David M. Barrett continues to spend two million taxpayer dollars annually.

1. Hmm.
Send Barrett a bill for the millions he mis-spent. Make sure to send it after the new bankruptcy law comes into effect, so he gets doubly hammered.
