A video for local troops in Wisconsin

Mission Welcome Home (http://dva.state.wi.us/Welcomehome.asp) is as the site states:
"An Ambassador Program serves as a network between generations of Wisconsin veterans. It also provides a link between community citizens and newly returning servicemembers and their families."

Here is a low-bandwidth video (Windows Media) of photos taken by the troops themselves and their loved ones when they have returned. I certainly shed a tear after creating the video.

No matter how you feel about the war, I think we still need to support the troops and certainly help them get back on their feet when they return.

1. Sorry, I'm in Wisconsin and all I can think of are the two Guardsmen

from the Oshkosh area who were just buried.

It's all a waste - their lives, their families' sacrifices, the precious time spent away from their families.

I know it's not their faults - it's Bush's - but I can't even look at pictures of our soldiers as an occupying force.

2. The sadness in their eyes after returning is what gets me

I also wonder how many of the young Marines that died thought that Saddam was responsible for 911.

It's like a parent in 1941 telling a child that they should fight for their country because the Martians blew up Pearl Harbor.
