CNN's Miles O'Brien skeptical about NYC Terror "Timing" this morning |
|
Edited on Fri Oct-07-05 07:15 AM by npincus
he asked his guest (don't know who- I just caught the end of the interview) if he thought it was "just a coincidence" that the terror alert was announced the same day as the President's "big speech on terror"
the guest replied the same talking points the gov't seems to be disseminating: the federal gov't didn't expect NYC officials to notify public, they were skeptical about the credibility of the information, bla, bla, bla.
Then Miles O'Brien said "well, it IS an election season".. and the segment ended.
the more I see of him lately, I think he is becoming more vocal in expressing a center, or left-of-center perspective.

2. I've been "crushing" on Miles O'Brien lately ... |
|
I don't necessarily think that he's reporting left of center ... He is just not hesitant to express disbelief when told some of the patently ridiculous info reporters are given. I think he just won't spin for the administration anymore; which is excellent ... I don't want "spin" right or left.
