What the? FOG??
I watched a news show last night that had a person saying the only reason Miers was nominated is that she is a FOG.

Anyone want to take a stab at what that means?

I wasn't familiar with the first definition, (To put off or appease by deceitful or evasive means:
needed help but was fobbed off with promises).
