Is Fitsgerald "setting up" Rove for a perjury and obstruction of justice
charge? Suppose Fitzgerald has new physical evidence (memos, etc) or testimony that Rove doesn't know he has and he is giving Rove enough rope to hang himself? Maybe Scooter has "turned" as an ass saving effort and is giving up Rove.

2. Most likely this is exactly what he is hoping for
There are only two reasons to recall Rove. To push him into cutting a deal or to try to get him to perjure himself. Frankly I'm amazed Rove's attorney agreed to it. The fact that he did is something that worries me a lot about whether this case is going to lead to an indictment.

4. or maybe
it's an indication that an indictment was imminent and this is a last ditch effort on rove's lawyer's part to stop it from happening.

6. Rove could have testified again to un-perjure himself

according to a comment posted on p. 3 in response to O'Donnell's blog entry at huffpo.

The poster ("DH") claimed that if a citizen returns to the grand jury and tells the truth and explains that he misunderstood previous questions etc. then s/he would not be liable for perjury charges. If true, this would be a VERY interesting reason for him to return.

"Where, in the same continuous court or grand jury proceeding in which a declaration is made, the person making the declaration admits such declaration to be false, such admission shall bar prosecution under this section if, at the time the admission is made, the declaration has not substantially affected the proceeding, or it has not become manifest that such falsity has been or will be exposed."
18 USC 1623

3. Or, suppose ...
Rove is being allowed to testify again to save his own ass. Trying to somehow convince the GJ that there is no/flawed evidence ...

5. The only way Rove saves his own ass is to "give up" Bush or Chaney.
I have always assumed that Rove was the "big fish". But what if the big fish is Bush?

7. I have a feeling it's a few more nails to firmly get Rove sealed in karma
