Conservatives fear Miers won't hate enough
The constitution hating crowd led by klansmen weyrich, norquist et al have their panties in a wad and by god they let ken mehlman know it this week. They are very fearful that Miers won't hate minorities, women and homosexuals. She just ain't their kind of conservative and by god they'll take their ill gotten campaign contributions and go home.

It continues to suck being them.

1. Diversion
I've been thinking about this, and this is about the only thing that all the right-wing opinion leaders have all come out against Bush on. I mean, it's not like she's a liberal or anything, and they'll agree with Bush on the most asinine stuff in the world, but, all at once, they turn on this. So my only conclusion is that she's a diversion from the real candidate.

We'll see soon enough, but I think he's got an unqualified crony he wants to nominate, but knows there will be a lot of blow-back, and even the right-wing dittoheads have started to doubt the credibility of the right-wing pundits. So if he nominated someone totally beyond reason, they could all come out and scream bloody murder, then when he nominates the real candidate, and the Democrats say, "Hey, this is an unqualified crony," the right-wing pundits can insist that it isn't, just having purchased enough credibility at least to fool the 51% they need.

So that's my current theory on why the right-wingers are lashing out at her. It's a setup for the real candidate.

I'll know before long if I was right.
