Kudos to Landrieu to have held the Senate to a still as long as she could

Unfortunately, it seems that she has lost.

Congress has appropriated 60 + Billions dollars to FEMA for Katrina. This money has still not been released anything to the states. Landrieu is asking for a legislation that would authorize FEMA to lend this money to the states. Historically, they lend the money without repayment. This is what the Repugs are refusing for LA.

So I am happy to see the senior LA senator do her job and do it strongly.
