The Free Republic is fascist site that grooms political views like one plants a garden. If they do not like a particular conservative or any other view person has badly enough, they rip the human 'weed' right out of the garden.

They have dumbed down the poster herd, and as a consequence they have made shallow the forum well of political efficacy. They have people now far less prone to give then they once did when Trixie was bellowing "EAGLES UP! and the FReeper "Welcome newcomers!" thread was constantly bumped to the top.

Jim Robber has become like the cockroach general in the Fabulous Furry Freak Brother's comic treating the poster ranks like he did his six legged troops; "There's plenty more where they came from. ;-)

It was in frames when I first discovered the FR. And they boasted how theirs was a repository of articles to use to have enough information to safeguard the Republic and further conservative causes.

Naturally the dimwits don't talk like that these days. They don't care much about anything in that forum and I'm sure they have low opinions of their poster and lurker base.

They just care about those monthlies and Woo Hoo! big sum donations. They make all that money and then do a fund raiser to get Jimmy Robber a lift for his van. The hubris runs deep and pungent in the Cafe Paranoia/FR circles.

at an education conference. He was absolutely magnificent. What a speaker. Severeid and Cronkite were people of intelligence and civility. People of respect and standing. You cannot find that any more. The women and men in the news today are just too stupid to understand what their roll is.
