"FEMA DYSFUNCTIONAL" - Mary Landrieu
on the radio this afternoon. Also stated that FEMA was a third rate agency and that the republican leadership has stated rules do not apply to LA and MS. Loans must be repaid, not the case in New York in 2001. She tried to get money to municipalitys to pay police and firemen; but "republican leadership" won't allow it. They accepted what republicans offered by vowed to fight it in the future.

1. My God!
What a loser ,, she can't even come up with an original description of FEMA ,, she had to echo back the same words the FEMA head used ... what a brainiac...

2. I don't think the citizens of Louisiana
consider her a loser. She stood up for her constituents and got slapped down by the corrupt old party. I think the republicans have spent all the political capitol they may have ever had.

4. She is far from a loser. She's been working for her people since
the disaster...a novel idea that her peers could stand to follow.

6. FEMA still can't get it done
Even now, there has been almost none of the money spent that has been approved for real aid. Oh, they've given away bushel baskets full to Cruise Lines with close ties to the White House, and to Halliburton.

5. Iraq gets free money, but Louisiana has to pay it back
I saw this being discussed on CSPAN among the congresspeeps.

This is yet another smoke and mirror scheme by the Pubs to suggest an income stream, so they won't go further underwater. It's strictly a fiction.

7. Heck, and we have lots of oil, too
Maybe we should start an insurgency and then they will like us in DC.
