All in a day’s work at the Center for Disease Control in the United States.
Walking on dangerous ground two teams of American federal government and university scientists announced that the resurrection of the 1918 influenza virus has been completed.
The flu of 1918 raced around the world and killed between 25 and 50 million people.
These people have declared that the 1918 virus was actually a bird flu that jumped directly to humans.
This takes us to today.
The bird flu virus known as H5N1 is a vicious killer as well. It is just waiting for the genetic change that will allow it to jump from birds to humans and race around the world.
The study involved ferreting out the complete genetic sequence of the 1918 virus. Then simple techniques were used to synthesize it. Then the disease was used to infect mice and human lung cells at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, Georgia.
To give you an impression of how foolhardy this process was take into account the fact that the anthrax sent through the mail which caused panic in Washington, DC and around the United States was of a kind familiar to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The perpetrator still has not been apprehended.

The study, which has been widely condemned around the world is being used to confirm the worry concerning the bird flue virus H5N1.
Nations around the world are preparing to or already have spent billions of dollars in preparing themselves for the possible onslaught from the virus should it complete the jump from birds to humans. Amazingly, the country which appears to be the least prepared for this possibility is the United States. The US still does not have enough regular flu vaccine ready for the next flu season which will begin shortly.
Even though the US is not prepared for a pandemic of major proportions scientists employed by the government are being provided funds in order to resurrect a form of influenza that is already capable of killing hundreds of millions of people within the period of one year.
Who is responsible for this situation?
Dr. Anthony Fauci is the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and Dr. Julie Gerberding, is the director of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. They are the ones responsible for resurrecting the deadly disease. Dr. Fauci publicized his work some time ago and actually took lung tissue that had been preserved from the body of soldier, Roscoe Vaughan, a flu victim of 21 years of age contracted while training at Camp Jackson in South Carolina on September 19, 1918.
He passed away on September 26, 1918 his lungs filled with fluid.
He got some more tissue from James Down, who died at age 30 on the same day at Camp Upton, in New York.
The lung tissue did not provide complete virus however. Only chunks as it had been degraded through time.
But a man by the name of Dr. Taubenberger got another sample, and this is a very serious example of the danger posed by the misguided work of Dr. Fauci and Dr. Gerberding. The tissue he received came from a woman who died in Alaska along with 72 other adults and leaving only 5 left alive in her village.
The dead were piled in a single grave. In that part of Alaska the ground remains frozen year round and is locked in a state called permafrost.
A retired pathologist by the name of Johann Hultin in San Francisco heard that Dr. Taubenberger was looking for some of this material and he took it on himself to travel from San Francisco to the mass grave in Alaska at his own expense.
He then dug up the grave and extracted the woman's frozen lung tissue. He then sent it to Dr. Taubenberger.
As for the dangers posed by the fact that they are now actively working with the virus Dr. Fauic responded, "It is something we take seriously.”
The project was paid for by the United States National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
A molecular biologist from Rutgers University, Richar Ebright has been quoted as saying, “There is a risk verging on inevitability of accidental release of the virus and a risk verging on inevitability of deliberate release.”
He added, “The 1918 flu virus is perhaps the most effective bioweapons agent ever known."
What Mr. Ebright might not realize is that the danger posed by the work of these misguided and rogue scientists is eclipsed by the danger posed by their method of investigations.
There are mass graves scattered throughout the world holding the graves of millions of the infected dead and their possessions. These graves hold not only the 1918 flu virus but Yellow Fever and other vicious diseases that are lying dormant.
The United States National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia may have begun a series of events that will kill millions of people over the course of the next few years.
