If Rove revealed information about Miers to Dobson doesn't that kind of |
|
make Bush's claim of executive privilege in turning over documents about her to Senators on the Judiciary Committee null and void.
Is this just wishful thinking on my part? Seems like she is a stealth candidate and key conservative activists are being given more information than the Senators responsible for confirming her will be allowed. That doesn't seem kosher, but then what is with this crime family.

But I'm sure the slimeballs will figure out a way to get around that little problem.

2. I am a Senator, this is what I say: |
|
"Sorry George, I don't TRUST your word. You are a poor judge of character, and terminally uncurious about anything that doesn't relate to enriching friends and family. I need more information, MUCH more, because your word just does NOT cut it."
Bush is a bad judge of character, look at the people he chooses to surround himself with. Liars, criminals, political opportunists, traitors, profiteerists, racists, elitists, cruel, evil, ugly, soulless jackals. He rewards incompetence and failure, because that's how he's gotten by all his life, being rewarded for failure.
A year too late people. You had your chance to turn his ass out peacefully and swiftly, but enough of you trusted this failure of a sad excuse for a human for far too long.

4. Bush could claim he didn't give any information to Rove |
|
However, I don't think Bush could try to claim Executive Privilege over Rove's papers, documents, calendar, phone records, etc. on this matter. Rove would have to try to make his own claim of privilege but I don't think that would work. With that being said, let's say there's a Bush to Rove memo or a Rove to Bush memo giving/getting approval of what to reveal that might crack open any claim that Bush would try to make.
Either way, I find it disgusting that Rove can have private conversations with religious leaders about matters that Bush claims he has no knowledge of or hasn't discussed with the woman who was the head of the search committee to find a nominee for the Supreme Court! Give me a break, that in the entire time she's been around him, especially since she's been in the White House, the Roe v. Wade never came up! Besides, why isn't that information also provided to the Senators prior to her confirmation hearing?

6. It's an old rule: Privilege is the President's, not the aide's. |
|
Aside from that everyone seems to understand the dumb hypocrisy of all this quite well.
