3. It's fine that he's running for AG, but NOT Pres!
I don't like dynasties! My favorite President is JFK, but I don't want any dynaties in the US. That includes Kennedy, Bush, and any other family who might have their eye on power!

4. He is my hero BUT...
We need him alive, and Kennedies running for president end up dead. He is brilliant. And I wish this world were good enough to let him lead us.

20. not all Kenedy's and, although it is horrible to even say,
your comment would apply whether he runs or not, and running would bring value and meaning to everyone involved because his countrypeople would sherish what he could be able to accomplish.

I admire him more than any other leader or politician alive today. He'll get so many independents like me that it'll make a big difference.

8. Listened to him and his brother Joseph tonight on Ring of Fire.
What intelligent, thoughtful human beings. What a different direction the path of our planet would be on if these men were in charge. Unfortunately with the current (non) leadership, the earth is heading further and further into disaster.

While one can admire his ability to state the obvious,
reactionaries do not great leaders make.

12. OMFG ......
I would ask for nothing more than to have Robert Kennedy, Jr. as President. :toast: Bobby is a "good" Kennedy ... ALL heart and soul. Wow ... and I thought I worked hard on the Dean campaign ... I'd do just about anything to get Bobby on the ballot and ELECTED fair and square.

13. in a heartbeat...
he would have my vote. That being said, being a thoughtful, intelligent, moral, caring and dedicated human being are not qualities that the american people look for in their president. He doesn't speak in that down-home way, and he used drugs, and he's too critical, and he's a tree-hugger and he's an elitist, and on and on and on and on. :puke:
Fault-finders will always find fault

15. yeah...
america would never elect anybody who used drugs.

uhh. admitted to using drugs. and learned from the experience that reality, painful and exasperating as it might be, beats drugs.

14. one of very few who could re-awaken our comatose party
i just saw a rerun of a speech he gave on the environment ... he said it is unwise for environmentalists to align themselves with either party ... it's hard to imagine he would be willing to run for President or any other office ...

i would do everything i possibly could to support him if he did ...

He is sharp AND well-educated (law degree). He has so much experience as an activist. He always does his research, and marshalls the facts behind his argument/contention.

17. All my friends and immediate family will vote for him. I have heard
his speeches and he has all the qualities of a leader. And, I think he could handle the heat from the RWers personality attack tactics. Right now is the best time for him to announce the candidacy. Based on what I see, many things would be in his favor, he could turn things around.

Hope he does run.

21. I know of many independents that didn't vote for Gore for all the wrong
reasons and I believe those wrong reasons still exist. It would be a bad ticket for it.

We need an overwhelming winning ticket so it can be manipulated again.

22. I like that- Gore - Kennedy. Not as much as Gore Conyers or
Gore- Boxer, but any of those would be fine with me. Probably a bit too left for the mid-section of the party however....

27. Not me.
He treated his first wife like crap when he decided he needed to turn their divorce into an annulment so he could marry his second wife. Talk about hypocrisy.

Guess what, Joe? Sometimes marriages end and that's called divorce. Don't play little games just because you're a Catholic.

I'm willing to respect anyone's religious beliefs, but now when they use them to mistreat others.
