2008: Gore vs. Hillary vs. Clark: A Clinton-era civil war that shouldn't |
|
Edited on Sat Oct-08-05 08:30 PM by Ignacio Upton
All three of these people are considered potential candidates (so far I believe that only Clark is considering running, and I don't want Hillary to run even though she is my Senator and support her next year in her Re-election.) three are the most prominenet figures during the Clinton Administration. IMHO, should they choose to run, they must be a nice with each other as possible, because attacks that they make on each other could be used by the Republican candidate as evidence of their "personal failure" during the '90s. The icing on this proverbial cake would be that someone close to the nominee would be using these attacks: for example, Gore criticizes Hillary on HillaryCare, while Clark criticizes Gore on not doing enough in Rwanda or Hillary criticizes Clark on Kosovo. The Right could say "well, such and such claims this, so what do you have to say now?"

whole state Dems down with her just to be the "candidate" in a red state ....

3. Whwn have yo ever heard Wes say a bad word about |
|
or criticize another Democrat? He doesn't believe in it. Period. Stop stirring up passions over things that will never happen. Wes is an honorable man. Gore is and honorable man. And, I hope Hillary loves this counrtry enough not to even try a run this time. But, even if all three run, there will be no animosity. I believe that.

4. I hope so, and I'm not doubtful of them being polite |
|
but primaries in both parties in the past have been known to become divisive. And anything that they say against each other in debates will be extra-sweet bait for Rush and Hannity because of the fact that they worked together in the Clinton White House.
