Who would be Time's Person of the Year so far this year?
I'd say Patrick Fitzgerald if the indictments had already come out, but he can still wimp out.

Let's see if Time is as smart as you are.

My guess was a Chinese or Indian economic minister, but I like yours better.

28. if he does anything big then it will(should) be him
kind of like how 9/11 resulted in Ghouliani being person of the year even though it should have been Bin Laden.

it's too bad rather than making the person of the year the news maker of the year they turned it into an honorary award thing.

If they stick with the WORSE theme, there is only one candidate:

35. I agree
Cindy Sheehan should be the time person of the year. She has done more to hold this administration responsible for their evil deeds than any of the democrats. She stood up to George Bush, camped outside his home in a ditch and made all the news stations and newspapers. She has traveled all over the country giving speeches, help put together the peace rally in DC that was attended by 100,000's of people. She also was with John Conyers at the Downing st. memo and is still on the road
giving speeches. For one person she is amazing and noone deserves to be chosen more than she does.

37. It's not a positive influence only, it's just a pervasive influence
It's about who has had the most influence overall - negatively or positively.

44. The Supremes (as in Supreme Court)
And and accompanying article about speculation of how this bunch will change America.

I'd like to see Cindy Sheehan or even Mother Nature ala Katrina and Rita.

A hit piece on Brown or DeLay would be a nice touch, too! LOL

45. al-Zarqawi deserves it...hands-down
1) He's been killed at least twice
2) He's jumped from a moving car to escape pursuing U.S. military forces
3) Suffered a damaged lung (from unknown causes) immediately thereafter
4) Has lost a leg at least once
5) Apparently remains in close contact with bin Laden
6) Created "Al Qaeda in Iraq, Inc."

And, on top of all of that, he is responsible for more death and destruction in Iraq since the initial days of Shock and Awe.

Not too bad for a make-believe, one-legged, twice-killed, lung-damaged phantom.
