Another Poll: Associated Press-Ipsos this time and very detailed
<snip>
The Associated Press-Ipsos poll on public attitudes about President Bush, the nation's direction and Hurricane Katrina is based on telephone interviews with 1,000 adults in the United States from all states except Alaska and Hawaii. The interviews were conducted Oct. 3-5 by Ipsos, an international polling firm.

Because of hurricanes Katrina and Rita, Ipsos did not try to interview people in Louisiana, southern Mississippi and southeastern Texas.

Results were weighted to represent the population by demographic factors such as age, sex, region, race and income.

1. Interesting, except I do wonder abuot htem leaving out those affected
by Katrina. I suppose they were trying to make a point that they were not leaving out people most affected by Katrina who probably are pissed at Bush. But, otoh - aren't they going to vote in elections this year and next? And hence, shouldn't their opinion be considered?

2. All polls are weighted or bias, Gallup Poll admits giving Republicans
more weight because, "they vote more than Democrats". That is why most people here think Gallup is beyond pale and their work borderlines propaganda.

To answer your question directly, yes those areas that are affected by the two hurricanes do not like Mr. Bush Jr. in the least. Even people relocated to other parts of the country are having problems!
