Anyone else hear that on Chris Mathews this morning on his "tell me something I don't know" segment...hmmmmm???

1. I don't think we'll get anywhere imitating Repubs.
Their Contract on America was pure PR and most dems and repubs know it. We don't need to imitate our enimies--we need to outdo them. Just sayin'.

3. I don't think they should use that name, but I think the idea is good!
It is good PR, and too bad the Dems didn't think of it first! It's a way to put a summary page on every Dem web site with a list of things they will accomplish, and link to each item description and how to get it done.

16. Once the GOP got into power stuff like term limits lost their charm
This anti-corruption things and the balanced budget--which would have ment limiting pork barrel projects and raising taxes on the rich got deep sixed pretty fast.

He also said you heard the beginnings of it from... Sorry, I can't remember the names he mentioned.

I sure hope he right! I'm pretty sure Howard Dean has mentioned doing something like that too.

5. Dean told Cindy Sheehan about it at their meeting.
She did not think it was important because the Iraq war was not on it. The video clip at the PDA meeting showed general lack of caring.

He has said that often, that is his goal.

it by what is needed. We are going down if we don't wake up, get educated, and educate others. Then shout what we need to save ourselves.

It doesn't incluce PNAC, the Fed Society, strange imperialistic incorpored and private Carlyles, the war mongering corporations and their stockholders, the Tri-Lateral Commission, the Bilderburgers, and all the World Bank types.

They cannot rule the middle and lower classes and sweep the rug from under us to make us their serfs and slaves.

17. This is in fact, true
There have been some liberal think tanks pushing dems to do this. Pushing hard, and of course getting resistance. It's actually good stuff, but unfortunately the dems did not think it up on their own and have had to be berated into adopting it. Keep an eye out for it.
