Help... I need some credible reasons why the NY subway 'terra' alert was merely a distraction.

It was to have been the 11th plot that little Georgie personally thwarted.

Unfortunately, the hoax part came out before people actually forgot it ever happened.

Information that led to heightened security for the New York City transit system was a hoax, government sources said Tuesday.

The sources said an informant in Iraq who provided the tip had told investigators there was a terrorist plot involving New York's subway system. That informant admitted he gave false information, the sources said.

4. Indictments...

Indictments were rumored to be imminent so BushCo threw
all their "terra" chum in the water to create mass distraction.

Tinfoil theory suggests that the Indictment rumors were a headfake
by Fitzgerald to elicit exactly this sort of over-response.
So BushCo has now played it's terra card... and it will have to resort
to something else (Iran, Syria, Pandemic, Putsch, etc...)

There is some hidden game afoot....

7. Because the NYC Mayoral Debate was scheduled at 6:30pm

And Bloomberg has already decided to skip it. He chose instead to upstage the entire debate by proclaiming "you guys want to be mayor, I AM mayor! look how I roar!"

He scheduled his press conference at 5:30, and had the entire NYC first-responder community doing his campaign work all weekend.

This was about a republican mayor using Dubya's re-election playbook.

9. All of the following were red flags that this was fake....

1) came from "al Queda" operatives in IRAQ -- there are none. This was an obvious attempt to re-new the lie that the Iraq war is part of the war on terra.
2) said the target date was a Sunday -- the day with the LEAST ridership
3) if we are in Iraq to secure their oil and someone wants us to leave, why would they target a NON-gasoline/oil powered mass transit system?! The attacks in London lead to more people using their cars and avoiding mass transit.
4) they said there were 19 operatives -- just like september of 2001.
5) NYC Mayor Bloomberg's response was to hold a press conference and then place more police on the platforms -- He did NOT increase the number of bag searches.
