Four days after the Earthquake
How are the people doing over in Pakistan? Are there still people stranded and unattended to?

That's how long folks in NO had to wait. Is there any comparison? I know the US received worldwide criticism for the slow reaction to Katrina.

2. There are people in Pakistan and India and a few other countries
who are still stranded and unattended to. This is a very rough part of the world. You know where OBL is supposed to be hiding. Where the official state powers that be have no control. This is the 'Tribal areas' where local war lords rule.

This is a lot different than 600 miles south of Memphis.

3. They are still finding a few people alive.
Saw a lovely scene with a kid pulled out and his father taking him. He was unhurt. You know the fact that the earthquake happened just after breakfast time probably explains why a few people are still alive.

I get your point but please remember that there are no warnings before earthquakes. There were days of warnings before Katrina. The two cannot be compared.
