1. This is the hidden effects of Katrina on Bush....
The ranks of "Bush-Haters" have swelled since his non-response. those who approved before just had another glass of kool-aid.

2. I think they were at the tipping point with war in Iraq.........
going so poorly and Katrina just pushed them over the edge. If it wasn't Katrina, it would have been something else eventually. America IS NOT happy with the bush cabal but what exactly can we do about it?
Impeachment only promotes the next Con in line with the exact same agenda.
What we need is a recall election like California had. bush would lose overwhelmingly even WITH Diebold stuffing the ballot box. bush is always saying laws need to be changed so he can use the military within our borders. I think he sees the handwriting on the wall. The law we NEED to be changed is a law whereby we can recall the entire administration, giving them a strong "no confidence" vote and requiring a new election ASAP. Three plus more years of this gang and there won't be enough left of this country to bother with.

4. I've Noticed The Same Thing in Other Polls
There might have been a couple where his strong dissaproval was actually higher than all categories of approval.

5. And the RW ideologues thumb their noses at 1/2 the country...
To have a president who is SOOOO disliked, you would think they would at least try to understand why.

They prefer to stay in the cocoon.
