2. wait a minute.... it doesn't say that:
"By a margin of 50% to 44%, Americans say that President Bush should be impeached if he lied about the war in Iraq...."

That IF is a huge qualifier. You might think he lied, but what are the polling numbers on that detail? This is a conditional question, not a declarative statement.

13. but its the same question that they asked
in June ....and the fact that there is a 14% shift is, as John Zogby said remarkable.....AND 20% of the Republicans answered yes !
All those "BUSH LIED" posters worked!!!!...the people are getting it and not from the main stream media.....this is a "tipping point". I believe.

14. there you go, waking up the dreamers
The actual likelihood that Chimpy gets impeached are basically zero. But folks love to dream and grasp at straws.

The chances that the Dems can make major gains in the House and Senate in 2006 and recapture the WH in 2008: now that's real.

3. 50 to 44, with a margin of error of +/- 3.1%...
We need a lot better than that if we're going to get a Democratic Congress to do anything. Of course, it could be 95 to 2, and we still wouldn't get impeachment with a Republican Congress...

6. The 44% sticks out more to me
"If President Bush lied the country into an unnecessary war, would you support or not support impeachment hearings?"

 "Not support."

9. That Could Very Easily Be the Same
group that didn't want Clinton impeached, either.

For a lot of Americans, the day-to-day agony index doesn't rise to the level of removing even an incompetent, bumbling, bloodthirsty monster from office.

Or a philandering horn dog, for that matter.

11. Somebody has to PROVE,
legally, that he did lie. Paper trails. Can we? That will be the only way it would work.

12. Did I suddenly wake up and a long nightmare is ending?
Suddenly, the impossible seems possible again. Am I going to get my country back, and is it (more or less) in one piece, or at least fixable?)

It feels like 1974 again.

16. Once the CIA leak case blows wide open with indictments...
We'll probably see those numbers go up even more because it's directly related to the Bush administration's case for going to war.

Maybe something will come of "Able Danger" to add fuel to the fire.
