Your number one "current event" issue

Okay, of the major news stories as of late which grabs most of your passion and interest. Notice how this question attempts to avoid the long term broad issues (environmentalism, civil liberties, voting rights, etc.) but of course your number one current event issue will heavily decided by your interest in the general issues as they relate to the current event.

1. i guess so far i am in the extreme minority

but Katrina is my single issue issue... it embodies everything wrong about this man, the ideology he is a figurehead to and all the ills of our society that he is a manifestation of.

2. Two own me

The Plamegate scandal and the broader corruption, and the war. The hurricane suffering comes third, I guess because if we had a competent president, it would be greatly mitigated by now.

3. Iraq.

It's what jolted me awake politically, and what brought me to this message board. It ties in with the larger neocon and PNAC agenda, which absolutely terrifies me.
