GWB's radical disdain for government (the people)
Because, we the people, are the government. But buried deep within his unbending soul is an aristocratic and elitist view that business is supreme over all and those with wealth are superior to everyone else. To Junior, "government" is an obstacle to attaining wealth. His belief is on prominent display in New Orleans and the Gulf area.

He said in his interview with Matt Lauer that it is not up to the government to rebuild New Orleans, it is up to the people. He admitted that his "philosophy" may be different from "those in Washington". But, his philosophy discounts even the assistance of government. His simple and distorted views are a disgrace to all of America.

1. I've always understood why rich people vote Republican.
It's good for their bank accounts.

But I can't forgive them, because they place their bank accounts over humanity.

3. I don't have a problem with people wanting to improve their
bank accounts, but at what point is enough, enough?

Somehow, I believe, even if they didn't have to pay ANY taxes at all, they still wouldn't be satisfied!
