Some republicans are BEYOND clueless
I was talking on the phone with a die hard bush supporter about a problem here in New York about what to do with the dayworker situation.

She starts talking about what "disgusting" people they are and than tells me a story she warns me Quote "will skeeve you out."

She went on to say,

"I saw a Mexican man riding his bike down my road and he stopped and got off. He looked around for a minute to make sure no one was looking, bent down and drank water from a mud puddle. It made me sick!"

I could not believe what she said and why it made her sick! I felt tremendous sadness for this man and I said to her the first thing that came to my mind.

"I don't know who I feel worst for. That poor man or you thinking that's SKEEVVY! If it was a dog I bet you would have bought it a bottled water."

She hung up the phone.

Some people are beyond help. What a disgusting person she is.

1. Lack of compassion
has appeared to become a hallmark of the Republican Party.

2. Last night
in a phone conversation, I was told that I should not worry about the people in Pakistan, as they were "lower humans" and did not need assistance like "we" do! I had to have him repeat it to make sure I heard correctly. I had intentions of going out on a second date with this man, now I think I feel a fever coming on, in time to make me sick for our date.

I have lost my patience for these people. And am distancing myself from them.

6. "lower humans"?!
What a piece of work! What in the hell does that mean? I bet that guy has some problems with relationships. But what is scary is that he most likely will meet someone, procreate, and have children as ridiculous as he is. You are correct in not going out with him. But you should tell him the truth. Just say something like, "I think you are a piece of shit and I never want to see you again." Maybe that's not the best advice, but man it sounds good.

9. But then again...
I could be a b*tch, go out with him, have a VERY expensive meal, then shake hands with him at the door, while telling him that I do not think it will work between us, and have a nice life!

10. Lol! Now there is an idea!
But you should explain why. Ah what do I know, I'm just a guy.

11. Oh don't worry,
I'll tell him why. I plan on giving him a thorough understanding of my beliefs and why I believe what I do. That he is entitled to his opinion, it is not my opinion, and I can't date anyone that is so morally reprehensible as to think that other human beings are beneath him.

3. Lack of imagination, too. Why did she *think* the guy might be drinking
from a mud puddle? Just for kicks? :eyes:

4. A) How did she know this man was 'Mexican'? B) Did it occur to her
to take him some fresh water? C)He's either homeless and thirsty or mentally challenged and thirsty- or both.. And last I knew 'Mexicans' are not in the habit of drinking from mud puddles. I rarely ever give handouts to the homeless.. but I know I can spare fresh water. What an ass.

5. Jesus didn't like poor people, either.
These folks are just following His teachings, I reckon.

I think it was Matthew 19:21. :eyes:
