Those who Find Bush "Likable" are absolutely unconscionable
Edited on Thu Oct-13-05 06:08 AM by TheWatcher
I find it exasperating, surreal, and disturbing to find there are still people in this country who find this creature, whose very right to exist is highly questionable, "likable", even if they disagree with every single policy he has.

I don't understand it. To me it is a sign of mental illness, or perhaps a sign that they might find this piece of human waste "likable" because they themselves are like him, or can relate to him in some way on a personal level of character and principle.

After all that this man has done, and after all his cabal have done, after EVERYTHING that has happened, HOW is this possible? HOW can people still find a vile creature like this "likable". What he has done to this country, to the planet, does not resemble anything that a human being with any redeeming characteristics on any level, could even remotely consider "LIKABLE".

Perhaps finding this man "likable" or "folksy", or "down to earth" doesn't make you a Nazi, but it makes you a reasonable facsimile or at the very least an enabler and an accessory for the continued outrage and injustice of the very existence of this small, simple, and utterly worthless husk of flesh.

No one should find this piece of shit "likable". It is unacceptable on any level. It should not be tolerated.

Pardon for the rant, but I just got done watching "Gangs Of New York". Perhaps I am feeling a bit "Revolutionary."

Bush, His Cabal, and the Top 5% are simply looting this country and destroying this planet, murdering and destroying anyone and anything that gets in their way.

If you think that makes a person "likable", then you are an enemy of this State, and furthermore, The Human Race itself.

And perhaps those who still find this man "likable" should remember, when they come for you, THERE WILL BE NO ONE LEFT TO SPEAK FOR YOU.

I wonder, when that fateful time comes, as they watch their children being tortured and beaten to death in front of their very eyes, if they will think to themselves "Well, yes, but it's OK. He's such a likable guy."

Message To The Terminally Blind:

You Suck. You Make Me Sick.

The rest of us don't Deserve the fate we are going to get just because you find this man "likable."

But You Sure As Hell Do.

How does ANYONE justify the notion that this man is "likable."

How is Mass Murder "likable?"

How is Bankrupting everyone except Corporate Cronies and the top 5% "Likable?"

How is attacking an unarmed Nation and an Killing 100,000 innocent civilians "likable"?

How is being responsible for God knows how many Deaths in New Orleans, as well as the destruction of that city through complete INACTION and failure to respond in a time of Crisis "likable"?

At Long Last America.....

WHAT'S TO LIKE?

/rant off

1. To " Those who Find Bush "Likable" "
How do you like what you've gotten, so far,
and the multitude of repercussions
have yet to be suffered, endured,
for generations to come...

6. I wish these people could tell me how it has been "Worth it"
It's like that Brain Dead caller Randi sparred with for 15 minutes on he show the other day. Mike I think his name was.

He basically sprang from talking point to talking point, diverting to the next talking point whenever Randi cornered him.

People like this are absolutely without justification for being.

Basically what it came down to, paraphrasing what she said, is he liked what Bush was doing because it "Made Him Feel Better."

Is THIS what we've been reduced to.

Destroy our country, the planet, and countles lives and treasure, just so these people can "feel better." So they can feel "like one of the Cool Kids." So they can beat their chest, and swill their Toby keith Mentaility loudly and proudly.

My challenge to these people is simple.

Prove to me you deserve to be an American.

Hell, Prove to me you deserve to be a memeber of the Human Race.

I'll make a Bet with them:

I'll BET they CAN'T.

3. He's a mediocre actor. That's all.
But then some don't understand the difference between acting and reality.

If he entered a room where I was, I would take the nearest exit.

Vile indeed.

4. They don't actually know him
I suspect if they actually were to spend an hour or so with him, they would quickly revise their opinions. They like his PR persona, which has been carefully crafted to appeal to people exactly like them. I think they would quickly find the real * to be exactly the kind of person they hate.

9. He is an anti-social personality ...
If you look at cult leaders, most of them are what is categorized as anti-social personalities ... Textbook definition being someone who lacks any concience, any sense of feeling or compassion, but has an ability to appeal to people in a banal kind of way ...

These guys have a way of exuding a swarmy kind of charm that somehow trances people of weak minds ... They can sense vulnerable people, and find a way to gain their trust and loyalty ...

I have seen this in Condi Rice ... Rice is very intelligent, but was young and niave enough that this guy got to her ... It is what we are now seeing with Meirs ... A pathetic worshiping kind of love ...

There was a bit in Newseek or Time about Rove and Bush ... It told Roves story of the first time he met Bush ... How Daddy Bush had sent him to pick him up and Rove saw Bush strolling up in a leather jacket, cool as can be ... At that moment Rove knew he was special ... The tone of that story and article clearly portrayed the man love Rove has for this guy ...

THIS is the manner of an anti-social personality ... They have no depth of character, but have a way of using and controlling people ... And, if you look at his life prior to 2000, THAT is how he got by ... His swarmy charm ...

I saw it CLEAR as day all along ... Just instinct to know a con man when I saw one ... But, most people just are not attuned to it ...

10. gagworthy
The other day when I was checking out Free Republic, I read some Freepers' (presumably females) posts that described Bush as sexy. :puke:

Now I've read some pretty outrageous stuff over there, and this has got to be among the top 10.

Sometimes I think Death, Mayhem, Looting, Corruption, Cronyism, Greed and Pillaging are the only things that can help them achieve arousal.

It's their own personal Pornography.

They are the vilest, most reprehensible people on this Earth.

But hey, at least they can "Feel better."

And The Gays can't marry.

To quote a famous angry person:

HAVE I MENTIONED TONIGHT HOW MUCH I HATE THESE PEOPLE?

14. It's all a PR scam.
Bush's "folksy" speech is an insult to even remotely intelligent people even though in his own mind, he still thinks he's better than them.

16. I have friends from Texas, and they say no one talks like that
there. Plus, he didn't even have a damn accent until halfway through the 2000 campaign! I moved to NC when I was NC, and have lived there and in VA since 1982. I say "y'all," and there are a few words I say "southern," but all these 20+ years really did was get rid of my NJ accent, not give me a miraculous new one (hear that, Madonna???). Bogus.

And I was around many "good old boys," and even the dumbest ones didn't sound like Captain Dumbass.

20. You undersestimate the power of physical appearance
in a media-driven age. People who are not interested in politics see a nice-enough looking man in a box with a screen and that's all they know. They have never met him, never will. That is all they know. The guy in the box. A talking head.

21. I am surrounded by neo-cons at work
And they are clueless. The other day one was talking about Bush and I asked him about Rove, and he did not know what Rove's relationship was to Bu*h. He watches Fox News and listens to Rush Limbaugh and is living in fantasy-land. When I mentioned the Katrina response, he said, "yeah, it's Bush's fault a hurricane hit." They refuse to listen to reason and--seriously--just regergitate the talking points they heard on Fox. And these are not necessarily stupid people.

25. They are not stupid, but for some reason they are so invested in
believing in him that they limit their knowledge to what comes from unreliable sources. The reason for that investment is beyond me, but there seems to be a really deep sense of inferiority that rush appeals to.

And anger, hatred.

I bet you could win over some small percentage if they had to listen to some of the Air America shows. Those would be the ones not so invested, but simply not aware of the rest of the information.

26. Well, according to my repug ex-friend,
she didn't really like him very much until 9/11 ... and he handled it SO WELL that she's like him ever since. (I forgot to ask exactly which part of that impressed her so much.) Besides, she was raised repug and doesn't like to talk about politics to anyone who doesn't agree with her view. Period. All those bad things just DIDN'T HAPPEN in her little world. It's all a conspiracy by the liberal media.

My sister voted for him TWICE, even though she says she doesn't like him. I just don't get it.

I don't find a single thing about him that I like ... and I never have been able to!
