"Sexists" against Miers - it goes both ways
Any charges that Miers is being opposed because she is a woman should be met with the reminder that * selected her (at pickles's insistence) because she is a woman.

Who is it that is using gender as a criteria?

1. But, but....the GOP is against Affirmative Action!
Youy know, so-called "unfairly choosing unqualified candidates to fill a quota".

How can this be?

2. Okay-TWO sets of footage I saw this morning-Meirs is surrounded by
HOTTIES!!

One was walking down a sidewalk outside (serious hotties behind her) and one was her inside in a hallway (a noticeably well built women in pink behind her). Coincidence?

3. That's idiocy to begin with...
we should oppose her for her lack of a record, in other words, inexperience. I thought we learned our lesson from Brownie, why the hell should she be a Supreme Court Judge? There is no great shortage of female Judges who ARE qualified, a pool of great experience, why not appoint one of them?

5. Repubs are the women haters, so turn the tables on them...
Hell if I were born 20 years earlier, I would have busted my butt to try to get the ERA passed, but I wasn't, oh well.
