After reading some of Harriet Miers writings,Is Bush "Judgment Impaired?" |
|
After 5 years....all the judgments/decisions he has made sets a pattern of inadequacy, inept, and lacking better sense...
To call Miers the best America has to offer is INSANE and DELUSIONAL.
Bush is continually trying to FOOL America with his BS....thinks he can wiggle his way through as he always have...
But this time... The Spin is not working. Miers is bogged down. Katrina revealed a Flummoxed President. The Iraqi thing is outta control. His Boys are in deep doo with the LAW. And his acceptance level is down in the 20's.
This boy is going down and dragging all the GOPle with him. We can thank Rove for this revelation that the GOP is horrendous for America and counter productive.
The Miers thing is a WAKE UP CALL for AMERICA....
Thank you Bush and Rove for awakening America and giving us a chance to review Truth and Sanity once more.

2. Reading some of Mier's writings... |
|
gives me the distinct feeling and strong suspicion that Mier has had a major league crush on Dubya to the point of it being unrequired love, possibly coupled with something more?

25. Mr President, You Are the Best Torturer Ever! |
|
My local paper published some of the cards she sent to bush over the years. In one of them, she actually said this to him! Excuse me, but it really scares me that someone who would mock what is happening to our detainees would actually be in a position to (as a member of the Supreme Court) affect my life and future generations!!

14. He never says anything about the nation. It's always all about him. |
|
Edited on Thu Oct-13-05 02:37 PM by donkeyotay
The preznit gives two reasons for picking Miers. He first says he knows/likes her, and then says he likes her religion. Notice what he didn't say:
"As president I took my responsibility to the highest court and to this nation seriously, and I have consulted with the judicial community for a candidate pool of well-qualified candidates. From these qualified candidates I have chosen the one I think is best able to serve the nation, best able to instill confidence in the nation's highest court, a candidate whose confirmation will help unite our increasingly divided nation...

not realizing his political Capital was already spent and no one is buying Harriet Miers....

where he's the top dog and gets to appoint all his buddies.
Unfotunately the population of America is about a million times bigger than what he can cope with.
